For starters the themes of isolation, and alienation, as well as the quest for identity are quite profound. Would you like to hear the good news, or the bad news? As Jordan Belford said, “Judge me by my [shortcomings] for I have so few.” There was only one error in your handout. The eye was not present!!! It was of huge importance and perhaps the most memorable part of your verbal presentation, all of your points thematically converge upon the eye. Now for the good news, the hand out captured a brief synopsis of your author, his influence and themes present in the book. I can now make simple allusions to the eye in my writing as well as the have an active book to use for isolation and the quest of identity, or as you put it a metamorphosis. I appreciated the originality of your author and the unique characteristics of their work, such as the German origin of the book’s publication. You put in a lot of work for this presentation and I hope this reflects upon your grade.
